RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Momentive Technologies, described by Mayor Kim Thomas as “the best-kept secret in Richmond Heights,” held a ceremonial groundbreaking Thursday (Nov. 21) afternoon that will eventually lead to the company doubling the size of its output.
Located at the former General Electric site, Momentive, 24400 Highland Road, has been operating in Richmond Heights for four years producing 10,000-pound fused quartz (or silicon glass) ingots. The ingots are then cut to the size manufacturers need to produce electronic products.
