BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 17 – Brunei Darussalam Maritime and Port Authority (MPABD) announces the opening of registration for World Maritime Day 2024 Scavenger Hunt.
According to the MPABD statement, the exciting event invites teams to explore the heart of Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) in celebration of Brunei’s maritime heritage.
Registration is now open and will run until November 21.
MPABD encourages interested participants to register early as the event is limited to 60 teams, each group consisting of five players.
Open to the public, the competition promises a day full of discovery, fun and friendly competition with clues and tasks inspired by Brunei’s rich maritime history and MPABD’s commitment to ocean conservation.
The competition, held on November 24, will test participants’ teamwork, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of Brunei’s maritime culture as they work together to solve challenges around Bandar Seri Begawan.
The grand prize for the winning team is $2,500 in cash, along with medals and exclusive MPABD merchandise to commemorate their achievement.
Second and third place teams will win $1,500 and $1,000, respectively, as well as MPABD medals and merchandise.
Additionally, the fourth through 10th place teams will each receive $250 and exclusive MPABD merchandise.
