WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Multiple fire departments have been called to battle a grass fire northwest of El Dorado. The fire broke out around noon in the 6200 block of NW 10th. KSN News has a crew heading to the area.
The National Weather Service and the KSN Storm Track 3 Weather team say fire conditions are prime. The winds will be 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph. The relative humidity is also low, and any fire will likely spread rapidly and become difficult to control.
