MXGP | Jorge Prado is again ahead in the World Cup standings – has a wide lead over Jeffrey Herlings

The next round of the MXGP was on the program in a warm Pietromurata in Trentino, Northern Italy. Jeffrey Herlings, as number three, was almost fifty points behind World Cup leader Jorge Prado and therefore had to catch up.

The Dutchman had a poor start in the first race and saw that Romain Febvre in particular excelled. Although Prado was able to set the pace for a long time, the Frenchman took the initiative in the second part of the race. Febvre won ahead of Tim Gajser and Prado. Herlings finished fourth.

Prado also took the lead at the start in the second race, but Herlings made a big mistake and crashed. Just like in the first race, the Spaniard saw Febvre connect. The Frenchman attacked, but was eventually released.

Febvre then crashed and gave the World Cup leader a safe conduct. Herlings ultimately finished seventh and saw major competitor Prado win the Trentino Grand Prix.
