Sport: Only Aalesund has made it worse. Last year’s elite series team is last with five points, but has played one game less than Start.

Ian Hoffmann easily took Moss into the lead on the eve of the 1st half. Before that, goalkeeper Jasper Torkildsen had kept the visitors in the game.

Nine minutes after the break, Marius Andresen doubled to make it 2-0. He clicked and sent an unattainable shot into the far corner. With that, both defenders for Moss got on the scoring list, and both recorded an assist.

Start reduced through Sander Sjøkvist from the penalty spot with 20 minutes remaining.

The loss came a few days after Start took its first three points of the year in a 4-3 thriller at home against Egersund on 16 May. The weak start to the season means that Azar Karadas’ team will struggle to take part in the promotion hunt to the Eliteserien.

Moss has 14 points and is fourth in the table.
