BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 17 – Network Integrity Assurance Technologies (NIAT) Sdn Bhd, Brunei’s leading satellite communications service provider, has been awarded Asia’s Most Promising SMEs at the Council Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Award (ACES) which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, recently.
According to a statement issued by NIAT, here, the ACES Award is a prestigious program that recognizes outstanding achievements in leadership, corporate social responsibility, sustainability and entrepreneurship throughout Asia.
Considered one of the most desirable recognitions, it celebrates innovative practices and impactful contributions, stimulating businesses to achieve great heights and positively influencing society and the economy.
Commenting on the award, the Chief Executive Officer of NIAT, Lim Ming Soon said that as a company wholly owned by Brunei with a workforce of Bruneians, he was honored to receive the recognition.
It is a tremendous recognition of the hard work of the staff and reflects Brunei’s growing presence in the regional technology landscape.
The landmark, he commented, was a very proud moment for everyone at NIAT. Lim Ming Soon further said that winning the award gives them motivation and a very proud achievement where they will continue to progress locally and internationally especially as a satellite communication company representing Brunei’s technology sector.
He stated that the landmark not only reflects their vision but it is a collective effort that drives their success every day.
Since its establishment in 2010, NIAT has grown as a trusted partner in delivering advanced satellite communications and geospatial solutions to various sectors including oil and gas and government agencies.
