Northeast Ohio Monday weather forecast: Still summerlike

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The beginning of fall is just around the corner but Northeast Ohio still is very much in the grips of summer, weatherwise.

The National Weather Service is calling for highs on Monday in the mid-80s with sunny skies. Winds out of the southeast will be around 7 to 9 mph and humidity should not be a factor. It will be partly cloudy overnight and temps will drop to the upper 50s.

Highs will drop back into the 70s on Tuesday and will remain there for a few days. There is a 30% chance of showers overnight. Wednesday also will see a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon with highs in the upper 70s. Thursday will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 70s, while Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 80. The weekend will feature mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s.

Cleveland will lose two minutes and 44 seconds of daylight on Monday.
