Downhill: The competition brings together Norway’s elite and international participants, who will challenge each other at speeds of up to 80 km/h.

Erlend Endresen, originally from Karmøy, has organized races in the Rullestadjuvet since 2022. It started as part of the Norwegian Cup, but has since become the NM in downhill skateboarding. Endresen hopes for a large turnout from the public, who have shown great enthusiasm in the past.

The NM in Rullestad is an important qualification for the national team, which gives the opportunity to participate in the WC in Italy in September. The competition takes place in heats with four participants, and the road is periodically closed to ensure safety.

– It is spectacular to watch, says Endresen, who started his skating career in Kopervik.
