‘OctoMom’ reveals big news about family

‘OctoMom’ reveals big news about family

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Former reality TV star Nadya Suleman is now a grandmother.

Suleman received the nickname “OctoMom” after giving birth to the first surviving octuplets in history in 2009. Now, one of her sons has welcomed his own baby into the world.

“Thank you my son and my lovely daughter in law for giving us this beautiful gift! We are so blessed that she is a new addition to our family! Baby girl you are so very loved and we can’t wait to watch you grow,” she said in a post on Instagram.

Her granddaughter was born Aug. 30, according to the Instagram post. Suleman did not reveal the baby’s name or say which child is the father.

Suleman was already a mom of six kids — Amerah, Calyssa, Elijah, Caleb, Joshua and Aidan-when the octupulets, Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Jonah, Makai, Josiah and Jeremiah, were born 15 years ago.

The OctoMom stepped away from the spotlight in 2013 after her pregnancy garnered international fame.

“I was violating my boundaries and my value system and my own self. I didn’t think of it at the time because I was in survival mode, and I was doing whatever I possibly could to provide for my kids,” she told People Magazine.
