Only one in four will enroll Norway in the EU

Policy: The measurement was carried out by InFact for The online newspaper 4 June, with 1,096 respondents.

25.6 per cent of the respondents answered yes to the question whether Norway should become a member of the EU.

56.3 percent answer no to the question, while 18.1 percent answer “don’t know”.

Opposition to the EU is greatest in the 30–44 age group, where 62 per cent of those questioned say no to the fact that Norway should join the union.

The largest proportion of EU supporters is found in the 60+ age group, where 30.3 per cent respond that Norway should join the EU.

The measurement has a margin of error of +/- 0.9-2.6 percentage points.
