Earlier this year, a number of kosher wines were available at Vinmonopolet – both from Israel, the West Bank and the Golan Heights. Now there is only one left, writes The day.

On 7 March this year, the government called on Norwegian businesses not to engage in trade or business activities that “contribute to maintaining the Israeli settlements in violation of international law”.

– In order for wine to be considered kosher, Sabbath-observing Jews must monitor and manage the entire winemaking process, writes The Kosher Alliance on its website.
