BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 31 OCT – A total of 24 teachers from the Besara Association, Sarawak, had a goodwill visit to the Brunei Malay Teachers’ Federation (PGGMB), PGGMB Building, yesterday.
The goodwill visit led by Cikgu Noraimi binti Ambon was held to strengthen friendships, create a network of cooperation with PGGMB and also to learn about the management and administration of PGGMB.
The arrival of the delegation was welcomed by the Chairman of PGGMB, Cikgu Haji Abdul Alim bin Haji Awang Othman, the Supreme Committee and the Administrative Committee of PGGMB with a thank you to the delegation for coming to PGGMB.
The President also shared some plans in conjunction with PGGMB’s 100th anniversary to the group before delivering a brief briefing by PGGMB Secretary General, Cikgu Haji Mustapa bin Haji Masri where he explained the history of PGGMB’s establishment from 1937 to the present, the management and administration of PGGMB, the development and progress of PGGMB and activities and plans that are currently and have been implemented since the establishment of PGGMB.
Meanwhile, in her reply, Ms. Noraimi expressed her admiration for the success and achievements achieved by PGGMB. He was also grateful for being able to visit PGGMB and Brunei Darussalam.
He also invited PGGMB to visit their association in the future and hoped that the visit would establish beneficial cooperation for both associations.
