Crime and justice: Some of the protesters stood close to the queue of people entering the arena and shouted “shame on you” to those entering to hear the finalists.

– You support genocide. Don’t support genocide, they shout.

Just beyond, another group of protesters were pushed onto a side road by large police forces as they approached the arena. The same also happened in connection with the semi-final on Thursday.

NTB also observed a protester being pushed to the ground by police. Several were also carried away.

Throughout Saturday, there have been demonstrations in Malmö against Israel participating in the Eurovision Song Contest at the same time as the country is at war in Gaza.

At most, up to 8,000 gathered on Stortorget in the center of the city to mark distance from Israel.

Also in the evening there were demonstrations in the center of the city.
