The districts of Bragança, Viseu, Évora, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Beja, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Portalegre and Braga will be under yellow warning between 12:00 and 21:00 today and between 12:00 and 21:00 on Saturday due to the forecast of showers, sometimes heavy, accompanied by thunder, hail and strong gusts of wind.
The IPMA extended the yellow warning due to rain and thunderstorms between 12:00 and 21:00 on Saturday for the districts of Faro, Setúbal, Santarém, Leiria Aveiro and Lisbon.
The yellow warning is issued by the IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities dependent on the weather situation.
