BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 27 – The Royal Brunei Police Force (PPDB) through the Islamic Religious Organization, PPDB held a Maulidur Rasul SAW Lecture which took place at the Gadong Police Headquarters Surau, yesterday.
According to a statement issued by the PPDB, here, present as the guest of honor at the event is the PPDB Police Commissioner, Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali.
Also present at the ceremony was the PPDB Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, His Highness (SAC) Pengiran Anak Haji Mohd Saifullah bin Pengiran Anak Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris, directors, deputy directors, senior officers, officers- officers, members and civil servants of PPDB.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Gadong Police Surau Imam, APO Staff Sergeant 6472 Mohd Yusri bin Haji Abu Bakar.
Next is a lecture titled Leadership of the Prophet SAW was delivered by the Religious Officer of the Islamic Dakwah Center, Ustaz Muhammad Nasyith bin Superi, where one of the essences of the talk revealed and recalled the morals and nature of the Prophet Muhammad SAW who was patient and forgiving to his people as well as to those who were not his followers. Lessons learned from the Battle of Uhud, namely the importance of obeying the leader’s instructions for success, were also conveyed in the talk.
