BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 19 – The Examination Department, Ministry of Education has released the results of the 2024 Primary School Assessment, today.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Education, today a total of 6,075 candidates have sat the exam in 2024 where 4,060 or 66.83 percent are government school candidates and 2,015 or 33.17 percent are private school candidates.
Out of all the candidates, a total of 4,960 which is 81.65 percent of the candidates have successfully obtained Grade AD in all five subjects. While the candidates who obtained Grade AC in all five subjects are 3,916 candidates which is 64.46 percent.
The total number of government school candidates who obtained Grade AC in all five subjects is a total of 2,323 candidates which is 57.22 percent.
Meanwhile, the achievement of Grade AC for private school candidates is a total of 1,593 candidates which is 79.06 percent.
A total of 34 schools have achieved 100 percent passing Grade AD for all five subjects including 20 government schools.
While a total of 12 schools have managed to achieve 100 percent Grade AC results for all five subjects, of which nine are government schools.
A total of 575 school candidates which is 9.47 percent have obtained Grade A in all five subjects where it is an increase of 0.34 percent compared to the achievement in 2023.
Of that number, a total of 242 candidates are from government schools.
In total, a total of 519 candidates, which is 8.54 percent of the 575 school candidates who got five A Grades, are Bruneians.
Meanwhile, the achievement of candidates who got four Grade A and 1 Grade B is a total of 579 school candidates which is 9.53 percent, of which 310 candidates which is 53.54 percent are from government schools.
Students who have sat the exam can get their result slips at their respective schools.
While private candidates are required to pick up their result slips at the Examination Department counter, Local Service Center, Lower Level, Block C, Ministry of Education during office hours.
