The health of famous actor Rajinikanth is in good condition after being admitted to a hospital in Chennai, India since last Monday.
Rajinikanth or Shivaji Rao Gaikwad, 74, was rushed to the hospital after the actor complained of stomach pain.
His wife, Latha Rajinikanth, said her husband was in a stable condition after undergoing an elective procedure by a cardiologist on Tuesday morning. Latha informed that the minor surgery was done after her husband had installed a stent in the lower part of his abdomen.
In another development, before the incident, Rajinikanth was busy filming his latest film titled Coolie and need to rest from doing any action scenes.
The film also features a cast of great actors like Sathyaraj, Upendra Rao, Nagarjuna, Shoubin Shahir and Shruti Haasan.
Renowned musician Anirudh Ravichander also acted as the film’s score director. Coolie expected to hit theaters next year. – Agency
