Sport: Midtjylland writes in one press release.

At the beginning of March, it became known that Olsson was affected by several blood clots in the brain in February. Later that month, the player was off the ventilator and was moved to the Hammel Neurocenter, where he began his rehabilitation.

“Here, Kristoffer has regained both motor function and verbal abilities. His physical progress is significant, and he is now actively training to be able to walk again, and he is now able to eat independently,” writes the club.

Midtjylland writes that there are still cognitive challenges that remain and that it is uncertain whether he will fully recover.

“Nevertheless, the specialists at the treatment center are encouraged by the steps Kristoffer has taken,” they write.

The central midfielder has played for Midtjylland since the summer of 2022. He was also part of the club earlier in his career and is listed for a total of 86 matches in Denmark’s top league. In addition, there will be a number of cup matches and European matches.

At club level, he has also represented AIK, Krasnodar and Anderlecht at senior level, while he was a youth player in IFK Norrköping and Arsenal.

He has played 47 A international matches for Sweden and was also there when Sweden last played an important match in November.
