Policy: It concerns the party’s deputy leader and program committee leader Henrik Asheim, as well as the leading Oslo politicians Nikolai Astrup and Mathilde Tybring-Gjedde, writes Aftenposten.

– We are getting more and more information that suggests that the content of social media is harmful to children. It goes beyond concentration, a desire to read and social interaction, says Astrup.

Therefore, they believe that there should be a 15-year limit, plus that you should be able to demand a technical solution which means that people have to verify their age through BankID or similar.

– It is a paradox that we have the Norwegian Media Authority which sets strict age limits on films and videos, but that we have no regulation whatsoever in social media, says deputy chairman Asheim.
