PARMA, Ohio — Roscoe and Sammy have been together for almost 10 years. They are inseparable — and man, can this cat play fight. (Not with claws, of course.)
They are so cute together. This is their story:
My daughter moved back to Ohio from Colorado. Roscoe was a rescue dog and was always very gentle. My daughter then got Sammy when she was nothing but a small kitten.

As Sammy grew up, the dog and cat bonded. As time went on, my daughter moved out of our home into her boyfriend’s place, where they could not have pets.
Well, my wife and I became instant custodial grandparents for these two. No regrets, by the way.
They both love each other quite a lot. Roscoe, unfortunately, is on his way to the Rainbow Bridge. He’s 13 years old. We don’t know what Sammy will do when he’s gone.
