Sport: Niclas Füllkrug’s score in the 1st half ensured victory for the yellow-clad team at home in a game that could have yielded even more goals. It was 13-14 in overtime finishes.

Julian Ryerson has delivered a good season for Dortmund and started as expected at right-back in Wednesday’s match. The Norwegian has played 30 games and scored four goals this season.

He was solid for those in yellow also against the French big team on Wednesday where he had to deal with the great talent Bradley Barcola for large parts of the match. Barcola left the pitch after 65 minutes.

– Ryerson has been one of the pitch’s best players in the first 60 minutes, concluded TV 2 expert Jesper Mathisen during the channel’s broadcast.

PSG played the final in 2018/19. Bayern also became champions there after winning the final. PSG recently secured the title in the domestic league, but for several years they have had the Champions League as their highest goal without success.

The capital city team is in its last season with goal machine Kylian Mbappé in the forward position. He has made it clear that he does not want to extend his contract, which expires in the summer.

In the second semi-final, Real Madrid and Bayern played 2-2 in the first match on Tuesday. The return matches will be played next week. The final has been added to Wembley in London on 1 June.

Before the break, PSG stopper Lucas Hernández had to be replaced with an injury.

After 50 minutes, PSG were very unlucky not to equalize. Mbappé and Achraf Hakimi both shot inside the post within eight seconds.

Dortmund are playing in the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time since 2012/13, when they made it all the way to the final and lost to rivals Bayern Munich.

After a quick start to the match, the home crowd exploded after 36 minutes. Nico Schlotterbeck hit a great long pass through to Füllkrug who alone with Donnarumma scored surely.
