Sabah FC faced Kuching City without six pillars

KOTA KINABALU, DEC 3 – Sabah FC will face Kuching City FC in the Super League match at Stadium Negeri, Kuching tomorrow night without six key players due to injuries, said interim coach Alto Linus.

He said the Sabah FC players who were on the injury list after the Malaysia Cup match against PT Athletic FC last week included Gabriel Peres, Saddil Ramdani, Miguel Cifuentes, Muhammad Farhan Roslan, Kwan Ming Ko and Darren Lok.

Alto said Sabah FC’s preparations were slightly affected due to the absence of the six pillars, but it gave other players a chance to be listed in the starting line-up.

“We admit that Kuching City FC is one of the best teams in the Super League, especially playing at home. But we are confident that Sabah FC players are capable of doing anything,” he said in a statement in Kota Kinabalu, today.

Sabah FC is currently third in the Super League with 26 points compared to Kuching City FC in fifth with 18 points. – Named
