Saudi Arabia organized an Arab-Islamic summit to deal with Israel

RIYADH, OCT 31 – Saudi Arabia said yesterday it will host an Arab-Islamic Summit on November 11 to address Israel’s attacks on the Palestinian territories and Lebanon, as well as regional developments.

Agency Anatolia reported a Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry statement which said the planned summit would be a follow-up to a previous summit held in Riyadh on November 11, 2023, to discuss Israel’s war in Gaza.

The ministry condemned Israel’s continued ‘crimes and violations’ against the Palestinian people, as well as attacks in Lebanon, while underlining the serious risks to regional security and stability.

Regional tensions have risen following Israel’s brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 43,160 people since October 7 last year.

As the conflict spills over into Lebanon with Israel launching deadly attacks across the country, more than 2,700 people have been killed and more than 12,500 others injured in Israeli attacks since last year, according to Lebanese health authorities.

Despite international warnings that the Middle East region is on the brink of regional war due to Israel’s continued attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, Tel Aviv expanded the conflict on October 1 by launching a ground offensive into southern Lebanon. – Named
