SEVENTEEN released their album “17 IS RIGHT HERE”, the video for “Maestro”, and they broke a record


On April 29, the K-Pop group SEVENTEEN released his album “17 IS RIGHT HERE”published the video of “Teacher“, and they broke a record on Hanteo by managing to sell two million albums on its release day, something that is added to the two previously released.

SEVENTEEN’s album, composed by two CDsit will be a compilation of the title songs of all the albums the band has released in South Korea, since their debut in 2015and Korean versions of the title songs from their Japanese albums.

Sales have increased since they announced that the album would also contain four new songs – the title track, “TEACHER“, and the songs of its three subunits, “LALALI“, “Spell” and ““Cheers to Youth”-.

On April 22, the album’s distributor, YG Plus, announced that pre-orders for the album, “17 IS RIGHT HERE”, had surpassed 3 million copies (3,087,613 copies),

The group’s representative agency, Pledis Entertainmentexplained that it is very unusual for a compilation album by a K-pop artist to record so many copies sold in pre-orders.

On the 29th, after the launch, they reported that the group made up of S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, WonWoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino becomes the first artist in the history of Hanteo in achieving three albums selling more than 2 million copies each on their first day: 17 IS RIGHT HERE, SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN and FML.
