Shah United beat DDT FC in the BEFL

By Salawati Haji Yahya

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 25 – The Shah United team is getting fiercer in the Brunei Elite Futsal League 2024/25 stage when they managed to climb to the second place in the league after denying the competition from the DDT FC team at the Multipurpose Hall, Berakas National Sports Complex yesterday.

Pengiran Asrul Asdynee Pengiran Shadon’s education squad is getting brighter with interesting actions by many former national players while being reinforced by the actions of two imported players from Thailand.

Ridwan Awaebuesa didn’t wait long to create the first goal for the Shah United team through an interesting flick in the 4th minute but Muhd Nur Syazwan Halidi wisely extinguished the joy of Shah United’s long bench when he leveled the score at 1-1 in the same minute of the match.

The match became more lively when the tall player, Faiso Muso managed to score a goal for DDT FC through a strong shot in the 8th minute and Khalil Saab managed to restore Shah United’s fast pace with a goal in the 16th minute.

Then, Faisol Muso once again did not miss an opportunity a minute into the second half and Junaidi Jumat also stole the show as a goal contributor for the Shah United team in the 25th minute.

Despite missing a goal, the DDT FC team did not give up and Muhd Nur Syazwan Halidi managed to add 2 goals in the last minute of the match, but the touch of the hat-trick was too late for the team from the Permata Hijau district to at least bring home a point.

Shah United’s victory puts them second in the BEFL table with the number of goals ahead of the league leaders, Kasuka Ar Rawda who also collected 9 points.
