Sport: HamKam scored as many goals in 39 minutes as they had done together in the first eight games in this year’s Eliteserien.

– I have watched every single HamKam round for over 30 years, and this is the sickest thing I have seen, said TV 2 man and HamKam supporter Marius Skjelbæk in FotballXtra after the 5-0 score.

In the 2nd half, HamKam putted two more times.

After four draws and four losses, HamKam climbed over the line with the first three points of the season.

The home team lost for the second time in a row, and the defeat meant that they dropped to second last place in the table with only Tromsø behind them.

It must be done to get a worse start to the match than what Sarpsborg experienced on football’s festive day.

24 minutes had been played when number three arrived. A cross by Vidar Ari Jónsson went past everything and everyone and straight into the goal from around 22 metres.

Four minutes later it was 4-0. Kristian Onsrud scored his second of the day after Henrik Udahl was second to last on the ball. It was a real gem after an exquisite haul. Gard Simenstad made it 5-0 six minutes before the break. He melted the ball into the roof of the net from an oblique angle.

The second half was far from as rich in content. 64 minutes had been played when the reduction to 1-5 came through Pawel Chrupalla.

HamKam did not allow themselves to be messed with despite the late goal. Henrik Udahl also wanted to be part of the game and made it 6-1 in the 76th minute. He was ice cold when he put the ball in the far corner. The veteran Pål Alexander Kirkevold made it 7-1 a few minutes before the end.

Only 3.42 minutes had been played when Kamma took the lead. A long throw-in ended up with Kristian Onsrud, and he knocked it into the net from close range. 14 minutes later it was 2-0 to the green and whites. This time it was John Olav Norheim who scored and Vegard Kongsro who was second last to the ball. Kongro found Nordheim standing all alone on the back post.

When the fifth came, many spectators left the stadium. They probably thought they had more fruitful pursuits to spend their time on than this humiliation.
