BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 24 – Seri Mulia Sarjana International School (SMSIS) has recently celebrated several important events that highlight the achievements of students in academic and co-curricular fields.
The event emphasized the school’s commitment to excellence, creativity and holistic education.
On November 21, SMSIS held its 26th Graduation and Award Ceremony, to honor the success of Year 6 students. Present as guests of honor at the ceremony were the Canadian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, Her Excellency Ambra Dickie; and Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam, Wang Haitao.
The council has celebrated achievements in the academic field with gold, silver and bronze awards including local and international competitions, with the completion of trophies, medals and certificates presented to high performing students to recognize their progress and achievements.
Meanwhile, on 22 November, the Recognition and Awarding Ceremony took place with the presence of the guest of honor consisting of the Country Manager of Microsoft in Brunei Darussalam, Akfash Latibu.
The event celebrates academic achievements for gold, silver and bronze categories, along with special awards for global competition.
The award is given to students from Primary to Year 5.
In the meantime, the students also showcased their talents through interesting performances, including piano, taekwondo, speech, drama, medley dance and cultural performances. The event highlighted SMSIS’ dedication to fostering lifelong learners, innovators and leaders.
