Songwriter Maria de Lourdes Resende, 95, died last Friday night at her residence in Lisbon, her former artistic agent told Agência Lusa today.
Maria de Lourdes Resende gave voice to hits such as “Alcobaça”, “Não, Não e Não” or “Ugly”, among others, having twice been elected “Queen of the Radio”.
In January 2019, the President of the Republic awarded the singer with the Order of Merit, degree of commander.
