Storm Track 3 Forecast: Dry, sunny, warm Sunday. Cold front Monday night.

Warm days and cool nights continue to be the norm for Kansas. Starting Sunday off in the 50s, temperatures rise into the 80s by afternoon.

Storm Track 3 Forecast: Dry, sunny, warm Sunday. Cold front Monday night.

A few spots to the west reach near 90 under clear skies with light winds. Another fine day to head outside!

Fire danger will be high where the air gets drier to the west. A Fire Weather Warning covers portions of extreme northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska until 7pm.

Lows tonight turn cool, dropping back to the 50s and even a few 40s to the west.

Tomorrow looks like much the same story at first. Temperatures warm up to the 80s and low 90s, but a cold front will begin to push in from the northwest in the evening.

This front will bring some gusty winds and drops temperatures into Tuesday, but it will not bring a lasting cooldown. It will also come through without a whisper of hope for rainfall.

Temps rise back to the 80s and perhaps a few 90s by Wednesday and Thursday. Another front pushes in on Friday, but it also lacks staying power and temperatures will likely stay above average through next weekend.
