Cool temperatures today across the state but southerly winds helped western Kansas reach a few degrees warmer than what they saw yesterday.
Lows tonight fall back below freezing ranging from the upper teens to the low 30s. Partly cloudy skies will be the case for many, but northeast and northcentral Kansas will see increased clouds and the potential for some moisture.
A low-pressure system will track through the region overnight, trying to squeeze out rain and snow across northeast Kansas. This system will clip the KSN viewing area before sunrise.
As the low quickly pushes east, moisture will follow with it leaving behind dry skies for the Sunflower State.
Temperatures will be cool tomorrow with highs in the 40s and low 50s. Winds will be out of the north behind the passing low but switch to see southerly flow by the evening.
We stay below average through the start of the week before a much warmer trend takes hold. Temperatures climb into the upper 50s by the middle of the week making for a warm start to December.
Temperatures across eastern Kansas will be closer to our seasonal norm by next weekend, but the rest of the state will stay toasty as above-average temperatures linger.
