The world of Kpop entertainment is in an uproar after Sunwoo, a member of The Boyz, was attacked by an insane fan while at his home.
In the report, Sunwoo or Kim Sunwoo, 24, was reportedly beaten repeatedly while trying to stop the individual from running away.
“On November 9, an incident occurred where a fanatical fan hid in the stairwell and approached Sunwoo who was heading to the dormitory.
“Sunwoo was repeatedly beaten which was considered a personal attack while waiting for staff to help.
“Sunwoo and our staff involved were sent to the hospital immediately after the incident,” he wrote.
The matter was informed by the management of The Boyz which is IST Entertainment through the website Kbizoom.
Meanwhile, the agency informed that they will take legal action against individuals involved in activities that may harm their patron artists.
“We have taken various legal actions including coming to the artist’s residence without permission, interfering with the artist’s personal life, interfering with the artist’s personal schedule, spreading false news and trying to injure the artist,” he said.
The Boyz will reportedly leave management company IST Entertainment after the contract expires and will move to One Hundred. – Agency
