Policy: SV deputy leader Torgeir Knag Fylkesnes, who represents Troms SV, is in his third parliamentary term. The can be the last, slices Klassekampen.

– I have a lot of doubts, and it’s something I think about a lot. Basically, I have thought that three terms in the Storting is enough. It is demanding work, says Fylkesnes.

The 48-year-old says things are probably going just fine with SV, even if he retires.

– People always think it’s a big crisis that people disappear, but there are many good people who can take over. When Kristin Halvorsen disappeared and Audun took over, there was a crisis. When Snorre Valen disappeared and Kari Elisabeth took over as fiscal spokesperson, there was a crisis. But it went very well, says the SV deputy leader.

The deadline for reporting to the nomination committee in Troms SV is 31 May.
