She also took the opportunity to announce a brand new album, The Tortured Poets Department, which many have taken as a brutal dig at her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
Rocking up to the bash, held at the Crypto.com Arena in LA, the 34-year-old commanded attention in a stunning, strapless white gown, which she paired with long black gloves and peep-toe heels.
She completed the look with strands of layered necklaces and a bright red lip.
Unsurprisingly, Swifties couldn’t get enough of the outfit and rushed to dissect her look on social media, with many questioning whether she had taken inspiration from Kate Middleton’s appearance at last year’s Bafta awards.
The Princess of Wales famously shut down the red carpet in a flowing white, one-shouldered Alexander McQueen gown, accessorizing with chunky gold earrings and similar black gloves.
Flocking to Twitter, one impressed fan cheered: ‘This is everything. Princess… but make it Taylor’s Version.’
‘Taylor Swift and Princess Kate? just two of the most influential women in the world,’ a follower enthused.
A Twitter user yelled: ‘TAYLOR SWIFT GOT INSPIRATION FROM PRINCESS CATHERINE THE PRINCESS OF WALES ON HER GRAMMY OUTFIT.’
‘Taylor Swift giving Catherine, Princess of Wales vibes and looking spectacular,’ another agreed.
‘It girls are always inspired by other IT girls. Taylor swift channels Princess of wales. Love,’ a commenter posted.
As a fan added: ‘The Princess of Wales was at the Grammy last night…oh wait. That was Taylor Swift…’
Taylor had a very busy evening at the Grammys, as she made history by landing her fourth album of the year win, thanks to Midnights.
However, she managed to upset viewers after appearing to snub Celine Dion, who made a rare public appearance to present her with the coveted trophy.
‘Thank you, all! I love you right back. You look beautiful. When I say I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart,’ the iconic singer told the emotional crowd.
‘Those who have been blessed enough to be here at the Grammy Awards must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world.

‘And now it gives me great joy to present a Grammy Award that two legends Diana Ross and Sting presented to me 27 years ago. These are the outstanding nominees for album of the year.’
After naming Taylor as the recipient, the Shake It Off singer ran to the stage with a selection of friends and colleagues – bypassing Celine to celebrate her big moment, with many upset at the ‘snub’.
However, a picture very quickly made the rounds on social media, showing Taylor and Celine embracing backstage after the awkward scenes, proving there were no hard feelings between the pair.
