Culture and entertainment: In the first of four concerts in Paris, the superstar showed off parts of her extended repertoire.

Thousands of ecstatic supporters had made the trip to Paris La Défense Arena. Many of them were probably waiting in anticipation to see if Swift was going to refresh the set list with songs from her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department”.

The album was released on 19 April, and to the audience’s delight they got to experience seven new singles from the album.

Among other things, the 34-year-old played the songs “Fortnight” and “I can do it with a broken heart”.

Swift described the new album during the concert as “the musical about female anger”.

The “Eras Tour” concert, which is the highest grossing tour in history, lasts approximately 3.5 hours. The tour is the first ever to gross over $1 billion in ticket revenue, and is projected to have earned double that by the time it wraps up in Canada in December.

Swift has already been on tour in the USA, Asia and Australia, and after twelve concerts in Europe, the superstar returns home for the last part of the tour in North America.

In Paris, she plays three more concerts, before heading to Stockholm, Lisbon and Madrid.
