On Friday, April 19, the official account of the Public TV in x (ex Twitter) surprised followers by publishing an unusual message that contained part of one of the songs of Taylor Swiftof his recent album The Tortured Poets Department.

The release of Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, has caused a stir around the world. The emotion reached, unexpectedly, the X account of Public Television. After the release of the album, someone took the account and posted: “Sisters, I got the account back just to tell you ‘you said I abandoned the ship but I was going down whit it”. This last part of the message corresponds to a phrase belonging to the song “So long, London“.

And in a following tweet, referring to the excitement of listening to songs by the North American singer, the swiftie user who took over the account wrote: “My eyes are dry, I can’t take it anymore”.

For its part, the state channel’s account continued to publish news and content related to programming, so the tweets about Swift were not taken at all as a possible hack. Although they didn’t rule it out either.
