Culture and entertainment: The newspaper will then be published every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, writer the newspaper itself.

– I only see positive consequences, says editor-in-chief Vebjørn Selbekk.

He goes on to say that it has only been a matter of time and points out that similar measures have already taken place at many other media houses.

Managing director Christer Skoge in Dagen cites increasing production costs for paper newspapers as one of the reasons.

– The aim of the change is to focus on more Dagen journalism of high quality. We think that will provide better content for the three days the paper newspaper is published from now on, says Skoge and points out that the newspapers will also be slightly thicker.

Avisa’s weekend supplement Korsets Seier will still appear in the Saturday paper, says Skoge.
