Working life: Since the farmers’ demonstration, the Norwegian Farmers’ and Smallholders’ Association (NBS) has gained 134 new members, writes The nation.

As of now, the Farmers’ and Small Farmers’ Association has just over 7,020 members.

– The last time we were over 7,000 was, according to what I can find from history, in 2007, since then we have been around 6,500-6,800, says Inga Haugdahl Solberg, organizational employee at NBS.

The Norwegian Farmers’ Association has also noticed an upswing in registrations. So far in April, they have had 157 entries. According to the Norwegian Farmers’ Association, this is far above what is usual.

The Farmers’ Association now has 57,614 members.

Neither the Farmers’ Association nor the Farmers’ and Small Farmers’ Association have figures on how many have signed out of the organizations recently.
