PUTRAJAYA, 6 NOV – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today continued the process of recording the testimony of the founding couple of a local online fashion business regarding the investment losses of Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Khazanah) and Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB).
The vehicle carrying the couple arrived at the MACC headquarters, here, at about 12:54 in the afternoon.
Today entered the second day of the recording process against the couple after they appeared to testify at the MACC headquarters from 2:30 pm to 10:30 last night.
Yesterday, MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki when contacted by Bernama confirmed that the couple had been called to assist in the investigation of the case involving investment losses amounting to RM43.9 million.
As of Monday, he said four witnesses from PNB, Khazanah and the Ministry of Finance have been called to testify to assist the investigation.
On the same day, MACC also raided the office of a local online fashion business and three other premises and seized various documents for investigation purposes. – Named
