BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 29 – NBT Brunei today inaugurated a new world-class Toyota Showroom that brings a minimalist modern concept with wide and open spaces to start a new customer travel experience and continue the level of customer service excellence.
Present to complete the inauguration was the Managing Director of NBT Brunei, Haji Ahmad Omar bin Pehin Dato Haji Husin together with the Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Asia, Kazunari Iguchi and the Managing Director of Inchcape South Asia & Pacific, Alex Hammet.
The ceremony started with prayer recitation followed by a welcome speech by Haji Ahmad Omar.
He said, “With a world-class Toyota Showroom, NBT has expanded its offering by introducing new models and most importantly, NBT continues to provide exceptional service to its customers.
“We remain focused on our mission in every step taken, which is to provide quality vehicles and a smooth purchase experience to ensure that every customer is satisfied with the service, commitment, and customer-friendly process,” he said.
He added, “On this day as well, NBT marks achievements with dedication, hard work and cooperation. It is not just the opening of a new showroom, but it is a symbol of the growth and success we have achieved during our 57 years of cooperation with Toyota. A success that results from the trust of our customers, the support of our team, and the unwavering commitment of our partners.”
“We have celebrated many successes together, including 43 consecutive years of leading the market in the world of Toyota which we have named as Triple Crown. Today, NBT Brunei with Toyota is a brand name trusted by all Bruneians. We have grown bigger and stronger throughout the years with the unwavering support and commitment from Toyota,” he added.
According to a statement, NBT Brunei, a company owned by Inchcape, and in conjunction with the opening of the new showroom, NBT also introduced new after-sales facilities.
The Toyota Showroom located in Kampung Beribi has been completely upgraded with a capacity of 12 cars, enabling NBT Brunei to display and offer test drive sessions for the latest vehicle models.
Customers will also enjoy special service when receiving their new vehicle at the new Toyota suite delivery room.
In 2025, customers will also have the opportunity to enjoy a customer lounge during car maintenance visits with access to after-sales service and the purchase of genuine Toyota parts.
As part of its commitment to sustainable mobility through the program Friends of the Earththe new location is equipped with solar lighting throughout. It also demonstrates Inchcape’s commitment to continuously upgrade facilities and technology to deliver the best-in-class vehicle ownership experience.
The facility will be NBT Brunei’s third location, replacing the closed Toyota showroom in Jalan Tutong, Bunut.
The ceremony also witnessed the handing over of souvenirs to special guests namely Kazunari Iguchi; Managing Director, Toyofuji Shipping Singapore, Edward Tan; Fujitrans Managing Director, Yoshifumi Hirata; Toyota Tsusho Asia Pacific General Manager, Premmit Singh.
