Sport: The All-Canadian quarter-final matchup started with the teams winning their respective games, but the Oilers eventually took the win with two straight triumphs, the latest in Vancouver on Monday night.

Cody Ceci, Zach Hyman and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins sent the visitors up 3-0 before the third period. Conor Garland and Filip Hronek reduced there, but Vancouver got no closer.

The Oilers players have produced a lot of goals so far in the playoffs and have seized the top four spots on the top scorer list. Leon Draisaitl leads with 24, while McDavid has three fewer.

The Dallas Stars, who beat the Colorado Avalanche in their quarter-final, await in the semi-finals. The first match will be played in Dallas on Thursday.

In the other semi-final, the New York Rangers and the Florida Panthers meet. The Rangers open on home ice on Wednesday.
