BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 6 – The United States (US) Embassy in Brunei Darussalam held a Presidential Election 2024 Watch Event which took place at the Radisson Hotel, Bandar Seri Begawan, today.
The event provided an opportunity for guests consisting of US exchange officials, members of community organizations, business leaders, the diplomatic community and US citizens in Brunei Darussalam to watch the US Presidential election live.
In her welcoming speech, the US Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, Her Excellency Mrs. Caryn R. McClelland emphasized the undivided cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the US with both countries celebrating 40 years of diplomatic relations.
He stated that Brunei Darussalam plays an important role in the region and bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to grow.
Party guests had the opportunity to watch live coverage of the election results via US news broadcasts and had the opportunity to participate in a US election trivia game.
