The Speaker of the Parliament, Annita Dimitriou, filed a complaint with the Police for publishing false news.
According to a statement by the Police, “based on an assessment of information that was judged to be reliable, the Force is taking increased security measures for both the Speaker of the Parliament and members of her close family.”
It is clarified that the increased presence of the Police concerns the adoption of security measures and has nothing to do with the posting of a specific page on a Social Media which is completely non-existent, false and in no way corresponds to reality”.
