The government proceeded with the withdrawal of the request pending before the parliamentary Finance Committee for the purchase of vehicles for state officials.
The request was submitted by the failed government to the Commission on February 24.
As the KYPE is validly informed, the withdrawal of the request took place as the President of the Republic examined the issue and considered that the issue should be re-evaluated and for this purpose he requested its withdrawal, which was done.
The request of the Ministry of Finance, as submitted to the Finance Committee, includes the release of a total fund of €3.09 million from the expenditure group of the 2023 state budget, which concerns the purchase of other vehicles and mobile machinery, and this includes a fund of €1, 78 million for the supply of 35 saloon passenger vehicles for officials.
