BELAIT, 7 NOV – The Sua Muka program organized by the Information Department, Prime Minister’s Department through the Belait District Information Branch, District Branch Division, continued today for the residents of Kampung Sungai Liang, Mukim Liang, Belait District which took place at the Kampung Sungai Liang Town Hall.
According to the statement, the program is one of the efforts to deliver information on current issues, government policies and at the same time to receive feedback that needs to be taken into account and acted upon by government agencies.
Present leading the delegation of the Information Department was the Head of the District Branch, Haji Fathi Foad bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abu Bakar.
Also present to deliver information to the villagers were officers from the Department of Electrical Services, Belait District.
The program started with an introduction from the leader of the group where he emphasized the role of the Information Department as the tongue, eyes and ears of the government in conveying the latest information, government policies and current issues to the people and residents through a number of channels which include Sua Muka Program and also through official newspaper publications Brunei lamp.
One of the programs under the department’s work strategy is Face-to-Face Communication which is intended to improve two-way relations between the government-people and the people-government by providing information and managing community relations programs that can contribute to the development and progress of the mukim or village.
The program was also filled with a dialogue session with the villagers on the issues raised which were related to the environment, infrastructure and public facilities as well as other matters.
