Personnel from the Torreón Inspection and Verification Directorate suspended this weekend a clandestine party that was held in a private house in the J. Luz Torres neighborhood, where more than 250 people were found, including 150 minors consuming adulterated alcoholic beverages .
The head of the agency, Raúl Gerardo Rodríguez García, reported that The intervention was achieved thanks to a citizen complaint that was extended to the Public Security Directorateindicating that the event put minors and adolescents who were obviously intoxicated at risk.
The event was recorded on Manuel Torres and Manuel Mendoza streets in the aforementioned sector, where the minors were drinking alcoholic beverages that were found to be adulteratedso they proceeded to evacuate the property and contact the parents to go for them.
Several of the attendees who are high school students lying on the floor were appreciated; while outside the farm some adults who resisted the eviction they threw blows and blunt objects against the police and the elements of Inspection and Verification.
It transpired that the party was organized by the owners of the home and that adulterated alcoholic beverages had been sold to adolescents at the place, however, the owner of the place denied the facts, said that it was a private event and that there were young people who entered with their own drinks.
The official made a new call to parents to supervise the places where their children go and to report these types of events to the authorities.
