Federal police officers executed three outstanding arrest warrants in one afternoon in northern Brandenburg. The three men paid fines totaling 3,600 euros and remained at large, the Federal Police Directorate in Berlin announced on Monday.
A 30-year-old was reportedly noticed on Saturday during a check at the Hohenwutzen border crossing; he was wanted for fraudulently obtaining benefits. A short time later, police officers checked a 38-year-old wanted for assault at Eberswalde train station, it was reported. In Küstriner Vorland on the Polish border, officers arrested a 48-year-old wanted for breaking a seal.
