The Thuringian CDU has decided to start official exploratory talks with the SPD and BSW. This was announced by CDU state leader Mario Voigt after meetings of the parliamentary group and the state executive committee on Monday in Oberhof, a party spokesman said. The party executive committee had spoken out in favor of inviting the SPD and BSW to exploratory talks. (AFP)
