WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A piece of missing history was unearthed in southwest Kansas.
Workers dug up a time capsule buried at the Seward County Fairgrounds in 1972.
The Leader and Times reports it was never given a marker, so people didn’t know where it was.
After a few days of digging, the capsule was found near the former raceway.
The 52-year-old vault will be opened Friday at 2 p.m.
