Tusk’s coalition narrowly wins in the Polish EU elections

Policy: The bourgeois coalition, which Tusk leads, received 37.1 percent of the vote in Poland.

This makes Tusk’s coalition the largest, but by a small margin. The country’s largest opposition party, Law and Justice, got 36.2 percent and was less than one percent behind Tusk’s coalition.

The Confederation Party on the far right wing ran away with 12.1 percent of the vote. The centre-right party The Third Way gets 6.9 per cent, the Liberal Party 6.3 per cent.

Voter turnout in Poland was 40.7 per cent.
