ISTANBUL, NOV 20 – Mountain Rescue Teams are searching for two Belarusian brothers who have been missing since Monday after hiking in central Turkiye, the Belarusian Embassy said today.
“We have not heard from the two brothers and are still looking for them,” said an embassy spokesperson AFP.
The 36-year-old twins went to climb the 3,771-meter (12,372-foot) Kizilkaya peak on Saturday and are expected to return to their base camp on Monday, the local governor’s office said.
Kizilkaya Peak is located between the two central regions of Nigde and Kayseri.
About 15 rescuers were involved in the search for the two mountaineers, the authorities said. – AFP
